Report of the Retreat

From September 6th-9th a Young Blessed Couples Retreat was held in Budapest, Hungary. The retreat was organized by a collaborative effort between the Blessed Family Department of Europe and the Middle East and the European Branch of High Noon.

Invited were couples who had been blessed after 2020. Seven young couples, both 1st and 2nd generation, participated in the retreat. The program aimed to balance a romantic holiday with the opportunity to connect with other young couples as well as gain some useful tools for their relationship.

There was content on the purpose of the Blessing, conflict resolution, intimacy, serving the community as a couple, preparing for parenthood, and creating a vision as a couple.

There were also activities together such as sightseeing, games, a photoshoot, and group discussions as well as free time for each couple to have a date night. The couples enjoyed their time together and several expressed a special appreciation for our guest speakers Andrei and Diana Esanu who spoke about conflict resolution and serving the community as a couple.
